Trout Ala Kinni
We are excited to share this guarded recipe from one of our rental owners with YOU. Trout Ala Kinni is famous at the Lodge on the Kinni in River Falls, Wisconsin with all the Fly Fishermen. The fly fishermen love to enjoy this delectable trout breakfast fresh out of the stream in the morning! Try this recipe at home, or better yet on your next vacation!
You will need:
capers or chives
Clean the entrails out of the trout, and prepare it whole. Stuff the ingredients into the fish, place in tinfoil and on your grill on medium heat for 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Garnish with capers or chives and serve with a slice of lemon. For the remainder of the menu, serve a hearty fisherman’s breakfast with scrambled eggs, American fries, and toast, large glass of orange juice, and a good hot cup of coffee.
